Sunday Morning Worship

Every week, we get together to worship God. We sing together, we pray together, we learn together. Wo celebrate who God is, what He has done through Jesus Christ and what He continues to do for us.

Community Groups

At Bridgeway, we believe God created people to be together... to have relationships with each other. We believe this is true in our spiritual lives as well. It's God's desire that we live out our faith together, as a community of believers.

One important way we do this at Bridgeway is through Community Groups. A Community Group is a group of about 6-12 people who agree to regularly spend time together. Our intention is to build authentic, loving relationships with each other and to grow in our faith together.

Connecting to Ames and ISU

Bridgeway seeks to truly be a community church. We want to connect to, serve, and share the love of Jesus with people in the city of Ames, at Iowa State University, and in our neighborhoods.

Partnership

Church membership is not mandatory for all people at Bridgeway. Still, many people in our church family have decided to make a commitment to "partnership" in Bridgeway's ministry. Find out more about why we call our members "Partners".

How Can I Get Connected?

We’re a young family

We have many young families who call Bridgeway home. We invite you to become a part of a community group, and if you have pre-schoolers, to take part in M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers)

I’m an undergrad at Iowa State

We are blessed by partnerships with Campus Crusade for Christ and with Christian Educators Association International (CEAI). Many of our students take part in Bible studies, large group meetings, mission projects, retreats and great activities through these ministries.

I’m a grad student at Iowa State

Many of our grad students and vet students are blessed and encouraged by joining one of our Community Groups. There are also activities such as volleyball and basketball to participate in and opportunities to serve in the church and community.

We’re empty nesters

Presently, we have two community groups with a number of empty nesters. We also have opportunities for prayer and ministry opportunities to get involved in.

Um… none of those are me

Bridgeway is home to people of all different backgrounds, professions, and ages. Married, single, kids, no kids, church background, new to church… it doesn’t matter to us. Everyone is welcome.
