About Us

Bridgeway is a dynamic new church in Ames, Iowa. A community of people who seek to love Christ passionately and to live radically God-centered lives. We are committed to reaching out to people who are not connected to God, and to gracious, caring relationships with each other. We long to see God ever more glorified in our homes, our city, and around the world.

Bridgeway exists to build a biblical community of people who are connected to Christ in an abiding love relationship, to each other in authentic Christian community, and to the world in kingdom-building ministry.

We believe that God invites all people to know him and enjoy relationship with him through faith in Jesus. God is compassionate, loving, and wise and concerned with the particulars of our lives. He hears and answers prayers today and provides eternal hope for us beyond this life.

At Bridgeway, we believe God uses people to lead his church and to accomplish His purposes.

Bridgeway's leadership team is made up of a group of Shepherd Leaders (elders), and a group of Servant Leaders (deacons).

Bridgeway Church has been around since Easter 2001.
